Elevate Fitness and Nutrition (“Elevate”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. We are an online fitness and nutrition coaching business based in Australia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, hold, disclose and protect your personal information, including sensitive health information, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
By using our website, completing our intake form, or engaging our coaching services, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.
1. The information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details, your name, email address and phone number.
- Health and medical information, information you provide through our intake questionnaire, such as your blood pressure and resting heart rate ranges, medications, prior surgeries, pregnancy or postpartum status, and any medical conditions you disclose. This is sensitive information under the Privacy Act.
- Fitness and lifestyle information, your goals, age range, gender, height, weight, target weight, training experience, equipment access and readiness to start.
- Booking information, details you provide when scheduling a call with us (collected via our booking provider).
- Payment information, when you become a client, payments are processed through our coaching app and/or its payment provider. We do not collect or store your full card details on this website.
- Technical information, information automatically collected when you visit our website, such as your IP address, browser type, device information and pages viewed, through our hosting provider and cookies.
2. Sensitive information and consent
Health information is sensitive information and is given a higher level of protection under the Privacy Act. We only collect health information from you with your consent, and only where it is reasonably necessary for us to deliver our coaching services safely and to assess whether our services are appropriate for you and within our scope of practice. By choosing to complete our health screening and submit your details, you consent to us collecting and handling this information for those purposes. You can decline to provide it, but we may then be unable to offer you a program.
3. How we collect your information
We collect information directly from you when you complete our intake form, book a call, email us, or sign up as a client. We also collect technical information automatically through our website hosting and cookies. Where it is reasonable and practicable, we collect information directly from you.
4. Why we collect and how we use your information
- To assess your suitability for our coaching and to work safely within our scope of practice.
- To create and deliver your personalised training and nutrition program.
- To contact you about your enquiry, booking, or program.
- To manage our coaching relationship, including check-ins, messaging and reviews.
- To operate, maintain and improve our website and services.
- To comply with our legal, insurance and record-keeping obligations.
- With your consent, to send you marketing or educational communications (see section 8).
5. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We disclose it only to trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed for them to perform their services. These include:
- HubFit, our coaching platform, used to deliver programs, track progress, communicate with you and process client payments.
- Microsoft OneDrive, secure document storage, configured in line with privacy obligations applicable to health-related information in Australia.
- Our website hosting provider, to host this website and process form submissions and notifications.
- Our booking provider, to schedule calls and consultations.
- Email service providers, to send you notifications and, with your consent, communications.
We may also disclose your information where required or authorised by law.
6. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers, or their sub-processors, may store or process your information outside Australia (for example, in the United States or the European Union). Where we disclose information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient handles your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
7. Cookies and analytics
Our website currently uses only essential cookies needed for it to function. We may in future introduce analytics and advertising technologies, such as the Meta (Facebook) Pixel for retargeting, to understand how our site is used and to show relevant advertising. If we do, we will update this policy and, where required, seek your consent. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended.
8. Marketing communications
We may, with your consent, send you marketing or educational emails. You can withdraw your consent and opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. We will always give you the ability to opt out, and we will not send marketing communications if you have asked us not to.
9. How we protect your information
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This includes using reputable platforms with their own security measures, limiting access to your information, and configuring storage in line with privacy obligations for health information. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. How long we keep your information
We keep your personal and health information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required to meet our legal, insurance and record-keeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it.
11. Accessing and correcting your information
You have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable period. In limited circumstances we may decline a request, in which case we will explain why.

If you have a concern or complaint about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first using the details below so we can try to resolve it. 13. Children
Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The current version will always be available on this page, with the “last updated” date shown at the top.
